Arika's birthday quilt

I made this for my grand daughter Arika. The background has small horses. So I used a large horse print as the backing. She loved it. All these March birthdays!!!!!!!

Amanda's birthday quilt

This is the front of the black/pink quilt. Amanda shares her birthday with me! Cool yes?

Why do white cats rest on black fabric?

This is my precious Pearl. She is resting on the back of a hot pink quilt. The backing is solid black. She loves to leave white hairs on dark fabrics. I was sewing the binding on this quilt for my grand daughter, Amanda.
She also always closes her eyes on the camera flash. They are the most beautiful pale aqua.

My cats all help me in the quilting process.

This is Baby. She was bottle fed and still a baby at 15 lbs.
She is on the ironingboard. Her favorite place in the sewing room. I have to use a lint roller every time I want to actually move her from her 60" bed and iron fabric!

Another great day of sewing. I have three baby quilts waiting to be quilted. They took me a week to make. Pattern is from a great book "Quilting with Bits and Pieces". Isn't it cute?

I have been working on this quilt for my husband. The block is called "Split 9-patch". It is a very addictive block.

I have been organizing my sewing area. As I am crazy for log cabins I started organizing the logs by size and by color. It has really simplified my life. Now when I cut out something I can process the scraps into the correct drawer.

Subee Sews Quilts

Hello world. I am new at this blogging so please bear with me.

I have been quilting for 20+ years and seem to give all the best ones away. I will be gathering pictures to post soon.

The quilt above is one I call Bali Cats. It is still waiting to be quilted. There are several batik panels in this quilt.

It was a fun one to make!
