I was lucky enough to have a block of time Thanksgiving morning to assemble my quilt. I am VERY pleased with the results considering my last attempt.

I have done more reverse sewing on this quilt than I have ever done on a quilt. I am thinking of calling this one Pink Lemonade.

And here is Clue#1 in Bonnie Hunter's latest mystery.
Love how your pinks ended up, Sue. I had never seen this done with the added square for spacers, and it works great! ( I actually thought you were going to have to add another color for the save, but I like this better!) Good problem solving!
ReplyDeletePink is not my colour, but your top turned out lovely! I will look forward to seeing how your mystery comes along.
ReplyDeleteIt IS a beauty!
ReplyDeleteYour pink lemonade looks great! I'm still trying to choose my colors for the mystery. Your's looks like its coming along, can't wait to see it when it's done.
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. Absolutely beautiful. I've been wanting to make one of these for years, but you have definitely inspired me. Do you have any recommendations for where I should get a pattern?

Your color combination is stunning. I wasn't sure when you described it without the picture. But I think this quilt will be amazing in greys and reds and black I think you said.

The quilt block really made up well in the pinks. I have heard some other names for the pattern also. I made one that was scrappy but darker colors than yours.
ReplyDeleteGoodness you are fast! Finishing the pink lemonade AND finishing step 1?!? I haven't even finished cutting step 1!
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with this pattern. It turned out great
ReplyDeleteOoooh I do so LOVE your Pink Smokey Mountain Stars!!! Angie in Northeast, Tennessee :D
ReplyDeleteOOOooo...I LOVE that! That sure is inspiring. Thanks, Subee...I'll be doing that someday! Good job!
