I did it!
I struggled so with the concept but wanted the end result so badly!
This was way out of my comfort zone.
I follow patterns...not design them.
But now this quilt IS all mine!
We are waiting for 9+" of snow that is due to arrive late tonight. Groceries are all stocked up. I am planning on making homemade chicken and noodles. It will warm the house and the heart.
You are sooo clever ,look at that it is splendid,I love it ,Mmm your dinner sounds good ,Dont like the sound of the snow though ..love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, well done and I hope you don't get too much snow.

Very good, a pretty quilt. the chickren and noodle also sound good. we are expecting 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. HAPPY QUILTING!
ReplyDeleteWell done! you are a clever little quilter.
ReplyDeleteStay warm, enjoy the snow. Its so hot here, we just lost one of our goats.
Love that little bit of snow on the edge of the drive. Get the shovel ready for tomorrow. I am hoping for a day off to sew also.
ReplyDeleteWell, this was lovely before but now it is so whole and complete; I just love it, such a restful piece. Thank you, too, for your kind words on my blog, x
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is fabulous! I love the color scheme :)
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so beautiful! You are very clever- thanks for doing that so we could see it!
ReplyDeleteThis is really stunning, and you're the designer. Cool!
ReplyDeleteBeautifil!
ReplyDeleteI love this layout! Very cool. Of course, laying it out on the driveway was pretty daring. I haven't seen my driveway that dry for over a month (in Wisconsin). Right now (even though I snow-blowed) there's still a skimming of snow/ice.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't AQOMC a great shop!?? I grew up in Leo and of course, it wasn't there at the time, but I visit a couple of times a year.
beautiful...
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed.
Kathie
I saw your previous posts about this fabric collection - and wow what you did with it was wonderful!!! Love the dark stars and setting blocks among the drab wintery scenery outside.
ReplyDeleteWill you be adding a dark outside border to it before it's done? LOL I just noticed the word verification below is "patio" LOL :P should have been driveway!
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
