Random Act of Kindness

Quilters are the most generous and kind people in the whole world.
Thanks Quilter Jeanne!!!!!!!
I was the recipient of the most unexpected gift. This came from California from Quilter Jeanne who is a member of Quiltville but did not join in the swap. Her timing was perfect and I was able to add some of my new fabric to the last blocks I was working on.
I plan on framing the Diane Phalen card. It is soooo beautiful. The title is "AMISH SPRING". And we have many Amish living close here. Even the big stores here have places for the buggies to park. I envy them their simple lives but I still really like having electricity.
I have all my blocks made. My design wall is not big enough to hold the entire quilt. I am so totally in love with this quilt and the color scheme. Bonnie Hunter totally rocks!!!!!!
That one piece of rust fabric still shouts out to me but I am going to leave it in. That is what Our Bonnie would do!!!!!

It is just a gorgeous quilt. Most definitely on my list for someday soon. The fabrics all look so beautiful together. Even prettier for all the people who contributed.

Lovely! Brown and blue together is one of my favorite combos.

Just gorgeous!! I do love this pattern and was surprised how easy it went together. Love watching your progress. I still haven't quilted mine, so hoping I can get some ideas when you get there :)

Yes, aren't we lucky to belong to the quilting community...great people and so generous whether giving to a cause or to each other.

Happy Sewing

Your quilt is beautiful. Blue and brown make such a lovely combination. And Rust, well it is like the cherry on a sundae.

Thanks or showing that Beautiful SSM on your queen bed. My daughter is getting married in Nov. and this is the pattern she picked out. I am thinking about making it a little larger. This helps my judge the size.
Yours is amazing!

Love all of your quilts! Since my favroite color combo aaare blues and browns...Smith Mtn really has it's appeal. Truth is, I am terrified of doing those pointy sections of the blocks. Any hints? please lol

Just love your quilts! I am drawn to the Smith Mtn one esp., as blue and brown is my favorite color combo. BUT, I am terrified to make those spikey sections of the block. Any hints!
